Rabbi Frazer was Daniel's rabbi at Brandeis and has since made aliyah as well. We wanted a rabbi who could marry us in Israel and whom at least one of us knew. We've both been very excited about this choice and hoped that it would work out.
The ball was rolling very smoothly. He very happily agreed when we asked him, he already has approval from the Rabbanut, and he knows people with whom we'll need to be in contact in order to get him approved specifically for our wedding.
So yesterday we met for an unconventionally timed meal at a nice cafe in Raanana. This is my first time meeting him and I am very happy we've chosen him. He's a caring and funny guy who was eager to give us help and point us in the right direction on who to talk to, what to have, who can do what, what we can add or take away, etc.
We've already changed some of our original plans based on the information (we didn't know were options) while not even needing to compromise (since we both agree).
I don't have any pictures to show, but thanks to this wonderful app the experience was awesome. I knew what exactly my options were and was able to filter out all the unwanted dishes on the menu. Daniel and I split a delicious quinoa salad. Most importantly, I left feeling confident with our choice, eager to get the process going, and more excited of the reality that we're getting married in 92 days!!
