Breads: No Yeast Bread

Today is my second attempt at Oceanmainesunshine's No Yeast Bread.

In this attempt, we did a 1.5 batch, with our alterations the recipe became:

6 cups of whole wheat flour
7 tablespoons silan
3/4 tablespoon baking soda
3/4 tablespoon baking powder
1 tablespoon vinegar
2 1/4 cups water

Mix all the ingredients in a bowl, and add flour while kneading. Shape the loaf and put in a pre-heated oven to about 204 degrees Celsius with the first check at 30 minutes. I took it out of the oven at about 35 minutes.

The bread rose way more than I anticipated. However, it came out pretty.
The bread had an unusual taste, and I still haven't decided if it's a good thing or a bad thing.
Daniel wants to try adding more silan for the next batch. I think I want to try adding the vinegar at the very end see if we can't tone down the flavor from the chemical reaction of the vinegar with the sodas.
